ANTHONY STELLA, P.E.
PRINCIPAL
Anthony Stella is
a graduate of Northeastern University with a Masters of Science Degree in Civil
(Environmental) Engineering, a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering and
an Associates Degree in Environmental Engineering.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire,
Vermont and Rhode Island with over twenty five years experience in the
engineering and consulting field. He is also a Certified Soil Evaluator in the
State of Massachusetts. His background includes both public and private design
and engineering work.
Prior to forming Site Engineering Consultants, Inc., Anthony was employed by Sasaki Associates,
Inc., the internationally acclaimed architectural, landscape architectural,
engineering and planning firm located in Watertown, Massachusetts. At Sasaki
Associates, Mr. Stella served as Project Engineer on a wide variety of
multi-disciplinary development projects including the Digital Office/Laboratory
Facility in Lancaster, Mass. This project included engineering services for a
proposed 600,000 sf research and development complex. He was responsible for
the engineering for the Techboro Center Office Park and Metropolitan Insurance Headquarters
in Marlborough, Massachusetts. He was the project engineer for the football
field and track and field complexes at Holy Cross College in Worcester Mass.
and the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. These projects involved
studies on various types of artificial and natural turf football surfaces and
resilient track surfaces as well as design of the site infrastructure system.
Mr. Stella has worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Offices of Communities
and Development (ECOD, presently DHCD) as a Design/Review Engineer. he was
involved with investigating site/utility related issues at Local Housing
Authority developments, including family, elderly and DMH/DMR sites. He has
prepared site improvements bid plans and specifications. He was also
responsible for the review of comprehensive site improvements projects for
these Local Housing Authorities.
Anthony is amember of the American Society of Civil Engineers, (ASCE) and the National
Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and an affiliate member of the Boston
Society of Architects (BSA). In addition, Mr. Stella has been an adjunct faculty member of Northeastern
University’s College of Engineering and the Wentworth Institute of Technology
and has taught courses in Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering, Highway
Engineering and Design, Methods and Materials in Civil Engineering and other
Engineering design courses.
